The nails are designed to be the same length to your nails and should not be used as extensions. They will go hard and act as a durable layer on top of your natural nails but will not be hard enough to add length. Gel nails, while durable, aren't as strong as acrylic nails. They are more flexible than acrylic nails even when fully cured so it still needs a base.

Each kit contains 20 nail strips in 10 different sizes. Line your nail against the strip sheet then compare which size best matches the width of your cuticle and nail bed. Don’t worry if isn't an exact match as you can stretch the semi-cured gel to configure to your nail.

Your nail strips will harden if exposed to cold or bright light (sunlight or UV LED lamps). Please store any unused or leftover nail strips in its original packaging in a cool, dark place. Use the silver sticker provided to reseal original packaging.

YES. The nail strips come out of the package semi-cured, meaning that the liquid gel in your strips has only been 60% pre-hardened. It is recommend that you cure your nail strips under a UV lamp for at least 60 seconds for the liquid gel to completely harden.

Warning: the nail strips are sensitive to light. Avoid using your UV lamp near any unused nail strips.

The lamp must be plugged into a USB outlet during use.

It features two time settings - 60 seconds and 120 seconds. At least 60 seconds is recommended for use with Sunday nails gel strips. You can adjust the time using the button on the lamp’s main body.

Press button once for 60 seconds.

Hold button for 2 seconds for 120 seconds.

It is recommend that you cure your nail strips 1 - 3 times for the liquid gel to harden completely.

Base Coat:
It is recommended that you refrain from using a base coat underneath your nail strips as the strips adhere more to clean and bare nails.

Top Coat:
The nail strips come pre-treated with a gel top coat. However, if you’d like to extend the length of your manicure you can apply a gel top coat along the edges of your nail strips.

Typically, gel nails last for about 2-3 weeks. Most likely, once the gel nails are hardened on your nails, they may never leave you unless you take them off.

No. Unlike normal gels, sunday nails will not thin or damage your nails once removed. The gels stick to your nails using a medical adhesive that is strong and durable but also safe.

We use Australia Post for all our deliveries. Processing Time is between 1-3 days.

New Zealand:  A flat rate standard shipping fee of 9.95AUD applies to our New Zealand customers. Free shipping is available to NZ for orders over 49AUD. Estimated delivery time for New Zealand is between 10-15 days.

USA: A flat rate standard shipping fee of 16.95AUD applies to our USA customers. Free shipping is available to the US for orders over 100 AUD. Estimated delivery time for USA is between 12-16 days.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contactus@sundaynails.com.au. You will be required to pay for your own shipping costs if you decide to return your order for a direct refund. You will incur a 9.95% processing fee to cover costs associated with your order that are non-refundable to Sunday Nails AU (i.e. Shopify and credit card fees).

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns  or refunds on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds
A full refund of the item will be provided if there is a manufacturing defect in the product. Proof of defect is necessary prior to processing a refund.

For change of mind and returns, you will incur a 9.95% processing fee to cover costs associated with your order that are non-refundable to Sunday Nails AU (i.e. Shopify and credit card fees).

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
